2018 Flint Hills Festival of Wines

This year the Flint Hills Festival of Wines is celebrating 19 years! Funds raised from the Festival of Wines have totaled more than $1.8 million dollars which go directly to the Homecare & Hospice Foundation and in turn are used to support their only beneficiary, Homecare & Hospice.

Grants from the Homecare & Hospice Foundation make it possible for the Homecare & Hospice organization to provide the most meaningful and dignified care and services to those most in need in the Flint Hills region. The Foundation is vital to the long-term success and growth of the Homecare & Hospice organization and the services they provide to all who need them, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

Achieving their 40th Anniversary milestone in 2018, Homecare & Hospice remains the trusted choice of the community and the only local, non-profit provider of hospice, home health and home care services.

We hope to see you at the Festival of Wines this year, enjoying a great weekend and supporting a great cause…CHEERS!

The Private Tasting Room, held on the First Floor at the Bluemont Hotel, is the newest event featured at The Flint Hills Festival of Wines.

Sponsored by Nespor’s Wine & Spirits, the Private Tasting Room offers exceptional, highly-rated wines that are not featured at any other Festival event. The Private Tasting Room is also catered exclusively by della Voce and will feature some unique and delectable hors d’ oeuvres.

The 2018 Private Tasting Room will also feature a cocktail crafting tutorial by Caleb Edwards of della Voce and select art displayed by Strecker-Nelson West. For any art purchased at the Private Tasting, 20% will be donated directly to Homecare & Hospice.

Festival of Wines Artwork

Festival of Wines Artwork

The featured artwork for the Flint Hills Festival of Wines was created at the very first Festival in 1999. Since then, David Harmes and Carolyn Arand of Art Craft Printers create a new look for each year’s Festival that serves as the theme for that year’s event.

Below is the 2018 Festival artwork, we think this might be the best design yet…but check out the slideshow to the right and choose your favorite!
